Vine Communities is a not-for-profit organisation and works with capable, well established Christian development agencies in each of its areas of operation in Cambodia, Thailand, The Phillippines, The Solomon Islands and Sri Lanka.

Code of Conduct:  Vine Communities is a project management group of World Relief Australia and is a signatory to its code of conduct and provides a framework and monitoring mechanism for sound and ethical development practice.

Tax Deductibility:  Donations to Vine Communities are processed through World Relief Australia, a public fund operated by World Relief Australia and approved by the ATO under the Overseas Aid Gift Deduction Scheme. Donations made in Australia over $2 are tax-deductible. Similar tax deductability is available in the USA.

Membership:  Vine Communities Committee consists of up to eleven volunteer members.

Board Governance:  Vine Communities is governed by an experienced team with a wide range of skills in management, education, law, international development and medicine. The team  meets regularly to receive reports, plan and determine policies necessary for the efficient and ethical operations of Vine Communities in accordance with good governance practice.

Organisational Management:  Day-to-day management of the affairs of Vine Communities is delegated to each Country Director in consultation with Vine Communities Chair.

Audit and Regulatory Compliance:  World Relief Australia undertakes this function, and an annual audit of the financial operations of World Relief Australia and public ancillary fund returns are provided to the ATO. Additionally, World Relief Australia is registered with, and reports to, the Australian Charitable and Not for Profit Commission (ACNC).

Overseas Aid Gift Deduction Scheme
Vine Communities is a project management group of World Relief Australia which is approved under the Overseas Aid Gift Deduction Scheme as a deductible gift recipient (DGR1).

Project Support Team
Members of Vine Communities participate in a project advisory committee that provides input and advice to members, Country Directors and Project Coordinators.
